Locating People in the Military

I get this question occassionally. Especially when trying to create a Sailorman's Affidavit. So I thought this book would be beneficial for those checking Military Status:

Various Books You Can Purchase To Help You With Your Search

I have done some of the legwork for you and am suggesting several books to teach you how to find someone using the internet. The first one is The Internet Searchers Handbook

Reverse Phone Number Look Ups

Searching for the owners of phone numbers is easy. All you have to do is a reverse search. If you already know the phone number then all you have to do is plug it into this website:

It's great because the person that owns the phone is not told that anyone is conducting a search on his or her number. All searches are private and held strictly confidential. Only you will know.

There are several benefits to using a reverse phone number search and there are any number of reasons as to why you would want to use a reverse search. Some more popular reasons include obtaining information on harassing or prank phone calls or text messages. See a number on your phone bill that you don't recognize? A number you don't recognize comes across your caller ID several times and you don't recognize. Reverse search it. Find out who's calling your significant other or children.

Not only does this service do reverse phone number searches it also lets you obtain peoples phone numbers by their name or address.

Don't hesitate use this link now to help you find the information you are seeking:

Do you need official Court records?

While this site isn't free I did think it might come in useful for those who require obtaining a copy of court records. CourtRecords.org is an authorized and trusted online records information provider. CourtRecords lets you utilize a network of multiple data sources to find the exact records you are looking for. Get the data from thousands of sources, public and private, quickly and conveniently right to your screen. Please use the form below to start your lookup process:

123peple

As I find relevant free resources I will post them here. Be sure to check back often for the new links. In the meantime, I had a friend refer www.123people.com to me this weekend. I did a quick check using it - it has a lot of information. I will have to spend some more time reviewing the bells and whistles before I can really give it recommended thumbs up. But the short review I gave it I have to say it may have some potential.

Their website states they are an Internet people search tool. 123people states their search will help you find information about the subjects you seek. The search results include those returned from traditional search engines, including any pictures, videos, email addresses or phone numbers affiliated with your subject. In addition, the results include social network profiles, any Blog entries, documents, instant messenger IDs, news and Amazon results.

After I spend some more time reviewing their website I will let you know what I think about it.

New Find

It's not about locating people. I also like to dabble in writing for fun and profit. I came across this great information tool today and thought I would share it. It's all about using the public domain to make extra money. I don't know about you but I can always use a few extra dollars! :)

Anyway, here's the information, nothing to buy, but you get a F.R.E-E course from Public Domain Center on "How to Profit from Public Domain Information." Plus a bonus of 7 Public Domain works all ready to go. There are no strings attached.

I was given the "Thank you page" and told I could share it with anyone...

http://www.publicdomaincenter.com/thankyou/?id=725

So I've decided to share it with you. Just cut and paste the link into your browser and it will take you to the course.

Black Book Online

Here is another large online resource. This site is a collection of links, but extremely high-quality links. There are several categories -- Bankruptcies, Criminal Records, Inmates, Maritime, Military, SSN Validator, and Voter Registrations, among others -- and you'll be taken to a page with links to databases and other sites specializing in that type of information. Some of these links take you to free sites, while you'll have to pay for others. But just having them all in one place is what makes the Black Book Online a valuable resource.

Best Ways To Find People Free Online

By Mike Morris Jnr

With about 50% of the world population able to access the internet, there is now a much better chance to find someone free online. This is especially true if the person you are trying to locate lives in a country where internet usage is high. Generally, there are many ways to find people free online i.e. you can use various methods like people finders, address finders, white pages, reverse look ups, specific tips etc.

Often times you only have to know at least one thing about the person you are looking for and the rest is left on the finder to produce. This means the more basic information you have about the person the better your chances of finding him or her online. However, do not be discouraged if you don't have any background information about the person. The internet has become so sophisticated so much that anything is possible – at least almost anything.

Amongst the many free ways to find someone online, you can use what is called a reverse look up. You can use any of the information you have about the person, for example, if you have an email enter the email exactly as it is on the search bar such as Google, or if you have a phone number, try entering it and see what turns up. Google has great people search operators, the bphonebook and rephonebook, which can search a business and residential listings respectively.

Now, before you start sifting through billions of pages online you should have a clear plan - what we call a search strategy. Start by writing down as much as you know about the person you are looking for - the name, email address, surname, phone number, street address, residential address, social security number ,occupation, birthday etc. This should be more like a profile about hobbies, names, interests, friends, relatives, organization worked for, nicknames, schools attended if you want to do a classmate search and more. This will come in very handy in your search later on.

Once you have all that in writing, you can then start your search by locating people finders. Use the top search engines to help you generate the best ones to use. You can visit Google.com or your favorite search engine and search for people finders. It was mentioned earlier that Google offers great people finder tools, hence you can simply use it to enter the basic information you have about the person, that is, do a reverse finder strategy – enter what you know and leave it to the search engines to populate the data for you.

Another great way to find people free is through blogs. You can try to find out if the missing friend or person has a blog. This is because almost anyone who uses the internet on a continuous bases has a blog or has posted a message on one or more blogs. You can search for blogs using Technorati, a search engine that you can use to search blogs.

Don’t forget the obvious ways – you can ask a mutual friend or colleague about the whereabouts of the person you are looking for. Think about people that might know this person and are more likely to be listed somewhere on the web. If you can at least find these mutual friends online, then you can use them to generate some leads about the person you are looking for. If you know the person’s previous address, do visit there to ask the neighbors, they are usually very helpful in providing information about current street or residential addresses.

You should also look at widely available public sources and white pages to find the person’s address free. There are some websites that offer free people finder tools and content to help you get reunited with your friend without paying a cent. Do look for people or person's contact info on these websites; Da Plus, Facebook, Myspace, Zaba search, ZoomInfo, friendster, Linkedin, soc.net-people. You should also try Wink, which is a free people search engine that searches about more than 150 million profiles. This site is one of the largest and one stop free people search for finding people on social network sites.

About the Author: You can visit http://www.findfree-people-friends.com to find numerous ways to find people free online. You might be looking for old friends, previous address, phone number, email address, missing relative, lover, someone you met just once or need to know someone’s profile, this website is your start-off point for finding people free online and offline.

Want to Verify someone graduated ...

from a specific college? Is someone you know bragging they graduated from an Ivy League college? Do you want to verify information someone put in their resume or curriculum vitae is the truth? Here is a tactic that will help you get your answer.

It is very simple really, as long as you have some basic information on the subject. All you have to do is call the specific university's registar office with the subject's full name, their social security number and date of birth, and simply ask them to confirm the subject's graduation status.

If you are also trying to locate the individual ask the person you are talking to if they will provide the mailing address that you have on file in order to compare them. They may have an address you don't have listed on the alumni directory. I'm not listed in mine, but maybe the subject you are looking for really, really likes their former university and remained on the alumni mailing list.

Okay, well that's all I have for today. Check back later for more tips and/or websites of interest.
